A Strategy Group is a group of trusted peers who help you develop and implement strategies to grow your business, increase profitability, and achieve your goals.

It is a master mind group for small business owners and leaders, consisting of fellow entrepreneurs and solo-prenuers, free lancers, managers and other experts that meet regularly to share knowledge, experiences, and best practices. The group helps you develop and refine your business strategy, overcome challenges, and make informed decisions.

Strategy Groups work within the Strategic Breakfast Club framework.

How do Strategy Groups work?

Strategy Groups are part of the Strategic Breakfast Club. Each month there will be a strategic breakfast session. The topic will be based on the needs and input from participating Strategy Groups. During the strategic sessions, Strategy Groups will work on that specific topic.

To get the most out of you Strategy Groups consider the following:

  1. Meeting with your group outside of strategic sessions such as happy hours, coffee, cookout.
  2. Having an accountability call between each sessions.**
  3. Continuing to develop your collaboration leadership skills.***

** Accountability calls. We will provide tools for learning how to facilitate effective accountability calls. If someone doesn’t want to coordinate these calls, a facilitator can be provided.

*** Collaboration is hard. It is hard for those who act more than plan, execute more than strategize, sell more than analyze. This describes most entrepreneurs. We all have heard the phrase, work less IN your business and more ON your business, but most of you are simply not wired that way. We will be building new leadership muscles. We will provide you tools to evaluate the effectiveness of your Strategy Group and guidance on how to work effectively with each other which will carry over in your life and business.

How are Strategy Groups organized?

An ideal Strategy Group consists of 6 to 8 peers. We will accept Strategy Groups that have 4 or 5 peers, and will work with Strategy Groups as large as 10. **

You can sign-up as an individual and we can match you with a Strategy Group.

However, it is recommended that you consider creating your own Strategy Group of peers that you trust and want to collaborate with. ***

** Groups less than 6 will not qualify for continuation discounts. Groups of 9 or 10 will be asked to split their group after the current semester.

*** If I create a group do I have leadership responsibility? No.
